This is getting really very frustrating!! What can I do to get this game working!!! I would really appreciate some help here! Latest drivers of NVidia (VGA and Sound) installed I included a file which is written by the application (d8fd_appcompat.txt) I have tried multiple settings, installing the latest DirectX, the latest NVidia drivers. There's a splash screen and music during approximately 1 minute, then the screen flickers and the game crashes back into the desktop. When I start the game, it displays the window with all the settings (tried all settings), then I hit 'Play'.
Just bought Stronghold 2 Deluxe for my son, installed it (had to run setup.exe from D:\Disk1 since the autoplay feature crashed) and after installing, the game does *NOT* work.
